Any Posters for Any Customer |
It is a funny and at the same time fascination fact, that posters
evolved from a simple sheet of paper with some kind of visual
information on it into an item that is auctioned, sold for thousand of
dollar and framed in the museums. Over its history, a poster surely got
through many advances both in technological side of its creation, and
in the direction of usage that a poster would belong to. For example
nowadays, there are 3D posters, and holographic posters, posters that
are used for promotion and advertising, and posters that are used for
public information. Unfortunately, it is impossible to compare the
first poster with the latest, because the science hasn't identified
what would be called the very first poster of the human kind,
but
there were some ideas that the oldest posters that were found by
scientists depicted a poor person who would be hung in the city's main
plaza so to speak - and if that the truth, then the first posters were
in fact used for advertising a certain event. Well, probably it is true
when they say that the humanity hasn't really changed its ways.
Nowadays, advertising posters surely comply one of the major direction
in poster printing business, however as much as their commercial use is
greatly valued and appreciated by the folks who are considered
businessmen and women, the common folk really enjoys buying posters for
their aesthetic and entertainment value. Some of the top sellers are
for sure movie stars posters, nature posters as well as posters that
have some kind of witty message written on them, accompanied by a
corresponding image, of course.
Not only it depends on the sex of a person what type of posters he or
she would prefer, but lifestyle and age is also a powerful factor when
it comes to poster purchase selection. For example, college students
more frequently order music band posters, where guys who work in the
office tend to buy inspirational and the above mention office humor
posters. Older people rarely buy posters overall, but if they do it is
usually something geography and history related. When it comes to
athletes, they often buy posters with images of their sports idols.
What boxer would not have a poster of the great Ali, and what gymnast
would not have millions of Shannon Miller's posters all over the walls,
ceiling, and sometimes windows, and what basketball player would not
have a poster of Jordan or O'neal on the back of his or her locker.
We all are personalities, and the current popular culture seem to
cherish the individuality above all, even more than a decent
performance, but the point is we all would go for a certain poster that
would only make a perfect sense to us, or the limited circle of our
friends. No matter what kind of image we would choose to frame in our
rooms, be sure that thanks to the highly developed poster industry we
will be able to find exactly what we are looking for. |
